Tiebacks
Tiebacks are anchorage elements that allow us to transfer, by traction and into the massive interior, forces of a surface by means of ropes or steel "monocarps". Tiebacks are grouped into three types: bar, wire and cordage. Its main applications are:
- Slopes containment in soil and rock;
- Support walls in deep digs;
- Anchoring of slabs to combat buoyancy;
- Establishment of special structures, in soil or rock.
